Early Prep Advising (7th - 12th Grade)

  • Regular 1:1 advising begins as early as seventh grade and continues until applications are submitted in senior year.

    For highly competitive students, we recommend starting in middle school to build a strong foundation for high school and college academics.

    Advising includes:

    • 7th-10th grade: Quarterly meetings covering academic rigor, extracurriculars, and test prep.

    • 10th-11th grade: College tours, list building, and early essay drafting.

    • 12th grade: Finalizing essays, submitting early, interviews, final choice, scholarships, and ensuring complete accountability with college tech management to track all due dates.

Rush Advising (11th -12th Grade)

  • Rush College Advising begins in a student’s junior year and continues through to the completion of applications and essays, typically by the middle of senior year.

    • 11th grade: College tours, list building, and early essay drafting, with additional support on all avenues for college advising. The college advisor keeps the student accountable with college tech management, meeting monthly during junior year and weekly during the summer going into senior year.

    • 12th grade: Finalizing essays, submitting early, interviews, final choice, scholarships if applicable, and ensuring full accountability with college tech management to track all due dates.

Acing College Essays (Editing) & Abroad
